Keypoint Law is delighted to announce that commercial litigator, Luma Sherif, has joined the firm.

Luma has 17 years’ broad-based commercial litigation experience.  Before joining Keypoint, Luma was Principal of her own legal practice LS Law, and prior to that, was a partner at leading commercial law firm Pigott Stinson, where she practised for over 13 years.

Luma acts for plaintiffs and defendants across a range of matters, including:

  • contractual and property disputes;
  • cases involving shareholders’ rights and directors’ duties;
  • wills and estate litigation (including family provision claims);
  • competition and consumer law matters; and
  • disputes involving the insurance and construction industries.  

She also practises in the area of insolvency, including preference claims, director’s liabilities, applications to set aside statutory demands, winding up and bankruptcy.

Luma’s clients include banks and financial institutions, insurance companies, liquidators, large corporations, licensed clubs, small businesses and individuals.
