The ever-expanding and revolutionary law firm Keystone Law welcomes the arrival of seven new lawyers. The exciting news sees Keystone’s headcount increase to over 150 senior lawyers.

The latest wave of lawyers to join Keystone strengthens the firm’s Litigation, Employment, Property, and Private Client teams. The new hires include:

Keystone’s Litigation team welcomes not one but two senior lawyers from RadcliffesLeBrasseur. Michael Woods, who had been with the firm for 4 years and previously held partner-level roles with Charles Russell, Gardner Austin and Stephenson Harwood, brings over 40 years’ experience in commercial litigation to the team and is joined by fellow litigator Gavin Ballance. Their arrival comes 18 months after Stephen Levinson left the Radcliffes partnership to join Keystone.

Also joining the litigation team is former Partner, and head of the IP and Franchising team at Mundays, James O’Flinn. James’ arrival strengthens the team further with two decades of experience in domestic and international litigation.

The growing Employment team at Keystone has been bolstered with the arrival of two partners from Field Seymour Parkes. Former Head of Department and thought leader Jacqueline McDermott alongside Rachel Tozer join the team and bring a wealth of experience with domestic and international clients and a proven track record in resolving Tribunal disputes.

Keystone also welcomes its fourth dedicated planning lawyer to the firm, David Evans, who joins the firm from Geoffrey Searle Planning Solicitors. David joined Geoffrey Searle in 2003 and over the past 11 years has become recognised as one of the leading planning experts on residential, mixed-use, office and leisure projects in London and the South East. Widely regarded for his strategic and detailed approach on all types of planning applications and appeals and the negotiation of planning and highways agreements, his arrival increases the size of the Property team to 36 senior lawyers.

Keystone’s Private Client team has followed in the footsteps of the commercial practice and seen an increase of enquiries from sophisticated individuals looking to protect their assets and welcomes to the firm Claudie Farndon, who joins the Family team. Claudie has a particular interest in children matters and during her career has achieved exceptional results for parents including obtaining a return order from the High Court and enforcement to reunite a child held in Poland by his mother with his father in the UK and has successfully applied for an unmarried mother to relocate to Italy with her 6-year-old daughter along with obtaining financial provision under Schedule 1 of the Children Act.

Keystone’s diverse and innovative approach to both law and business has enticed an abundance of partner-level lawyers from prominent firms over the past couple of years, and can proudly continue to further position itself as a game-changing alternative to more traditional providers.

James Knight, Managing Director of Keystone Law, commented,

“This wave of fantastic hires, and all from esteemed law firms, goes to prove that Keystone continues to attract the finest of the finest, meaning our clients can rest assured that they will always receive the best possible advice.”
