Keystone is delighted to welcome its 4th dedicated planning lawyer to the firm, David Evans, who joins the firm from Geoffrey Searle Planning Solicitors.

David joined Geoffrey Searle in 2003 and over the past eleven years has become recognised as one of the leading planning experts on residential, mixed-use, office and leisure projects in London and the South East.

He is widely known for his strategic and detailed approach on all types of planning applications and appeals; the negotiation of planning and highways agreements; managing court challenges; and advising on blight and compulsory purchase issues.

David also has an exceptional track record in obtaining valuable planning permissions, securing costs awards, advising on environmental statements, and resisting village green applications.

James Knight, Managing Director, commented:

“Our property practice is attracting clients from all across the country with a range of needs, and I am delighted that we are one of the few firms that are able to offer our clients partner-level expertise across all areas including environmental, tax and, of course, planning. David’s arrival at the firm strengthens our capabilities, and I am delighted to welcome him to the firm. Few law firms have four dedicated planning partners delivering service direct to the clients, and it’s for that reason we have seen our client base grow so quickly.”
