Keystone is delighted to announce the arrival of leading litigation lawyer James O’Flinn who joins the firm from Mundays where he also headed up the IP and Franchising teams.

James’ arrival comes 18 months after Employment Partner Denham Bell left Mundays to join the firm and is the 18th hire Keystone has made this year to their team of senior lawyers.

James brings to Keystone nearly 20 years of experience in resolving domestic and international commercial disputes through negotiation, mediation, expert determination, arbitration and, when necessary, litigation. He has particular expertise in disputes relating to commercial contracts, directors and shareholders, partnerships, intellectual property, IT, franchising and insurance.

During his career James has worked alongside a range of commercial organisations and high-net-worth individuals with great success, advising in a wide spectrum of areas including corporate and boardroom disputes, bank guarantees, commercial agents and regulatory issues facing agents and principals, professional negligence actions, and health and safety investigations.

The leading guides to the UK legal system have recognised James and he is ranked as a leading individual in his field.

James O’Flinn commented on joining Keystone:
“I had been told a lot about Keystone Law from some of the firm’s very impressive array of senior lawyers and was struck by the modern and revolutionary environment which the firm has in place, which in consequence galvanises the lawyers who evidently thrive on it. This provides significant benefits to clients who have access to flexible, razor-sharp and driven lawyers freed of the distracting burdens that traditional practice brings. In addition the firm’s model will free me up so that I can devote more of my time to the requirements of my clients. I am delighted to be joining Keystone Law’s imposing team of expert litigators.”

Managing Director James Knight commented:
“In the past year we have seen an increase in demand from our clients keen to resolve issues and protect their businesses, and our litigation team has grown to accommodate this supported by our mediation practice which boasts 12 qualified and highly experienced mediators. I am delighted to welcome James to Keystone. His experience internationally and domestically will be an asset to the firm and its clients.”
