Keypoint is amongst a group of leading law firms contending for the ‘Outstanding Law Firm of 2015‘ award at the upcoming NSW Women Lawyers Achievement Awards.

The Awards seek to recognise firms which demonstrate a commitment to the advancement of women within the legal profession by implementing policies that promote flexible work arrangements, gender equity and similar objectives.

Warren Kalinko, Keypoint’s CEO commented:

Flexible working lies at the very heart of our firm; facilitated by an absence of billable hour targets, and enabled by the control our lawyers enjoy over their practices.  We’re very pleased to be able to participate in the NSW Women Lawyers Achievement Awards which promote values which are central to the way we work.”

Keypoint’s nomination was supported by a number of the firm’s lawyers, including Consulting Principal Lora Shaw who stated:

I am delighted to endorse Keypoint as a nominee for the Award due to its advancement of a law firm model which is pioneering a cultural shift in the Australian legal profession, towards one which is inclusive, egalitarian and family friendly”.

Other nominees include Baker & McKenzie, Maddocks and Harmers Workplace Lawyers.

Award recipients will be announced at a Gala Dinner to be held on 11 September 2015.
