Keypoint is delighted to announce that insurance litigation lawyer, Colin Davidson, has joined the firm.

Colin has more than 20 years’ experience in insurance law.  He is a former partner of Thomson Playford Lawyers (now Thomson Lawyers), and prior to joining Keypoint, was principal of boutique insurance litigation firm Davidson Legal.

Colin’s practice covers:   

  • litigation and dispute resolution;
  • advice on policy coverage and interpretation; and
  • advice on policy wording,

in relation to:

  • catastrophic claims;
  • construction risks;
  • local government;
  • medical negligence;
  • professional indemnity;
  • directors & officers liability;
  • public liability; and
  • workers compensation.

Colin has represented clients and appeared in all jurisdictions in NSW including the Local Court, District Court, Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, and High Court.   He has also provided litigation defence in most other States and Territories, including Victoria, Qld and the ACT.   

As an adjunct to his insurance practice, Colin provides advice in risk management, occupational health and safety, and represents clients at coronial inquests and inquiries.
