Sonia has over 20 years’ experience advising across a broad range of disputes, specialising in environment and planning litigation. Prior to joining Keypoint, Sonia was Director of Brisbane boutique firm HWS Lawyers, and before that was a Senior Associate at Barry.Nilsson.

Sonia has a strong track record assisting developers and private clients to successfully navigate planning and other regulatory approval processes. She represents clients in originating applications in the Planning and Environment Court and on appeals from that Court. She also acts for clients defending prosecutions of planning and environmental offences.​

Sonia works closely with her clients to identify appropriate strategies formulated to provide the best possible outcomes and in the majority of instances, those outcomes are achieved without the need for the completion of a court hearing.

Sonia joined Keypoint in 2018 and is based in Brisbane.
