Rita’s extensive background in both private practice and in-house roles, spanning over 30 years, has seen her develop a wealth of experience in the legal industry.
After 10 years in private practice, Rita moved in-house to a global IT company for 6 years, and eventually into a Chief Legal Officer role for the world’s largest manufacturer of forged grinding media to the mining industry, headquartered in Omaha Nebraska with operations in more than 10 countries. This role saw Rita lead a legal team across multiple jurisdictions and manage complex legal matters on a global scale.
With her unique perspective gained from senior positions in various legal environments, Rita has a deep understanding of the culture and behaviours prevalent among lawyers and law firms in the Australian legal market.
Rita’s multifaceted role with Keypoint Law as its Head of Growth and Corporate Development involves strategic leadership in both recruitment and corporate development. She has a crucial function in steering the firm’s recruitment efforts, and her responsibilities extend to leading the growth of the firm’s national partner-level team. On the corporate development front, Rita focuses on nurturing a positive community and culture within Keypoint, as well as building collaborative relationships within the firm and opportunities for referred work.
