Keypoint Law is excited to welcome senior commercial lawyer and franchise specialist, Tamra Seaton, to the firm as it expands its operations into Perth.
Tamra is a leading franchising and licensing lawyer who joins Keypoint from MDS Legal, where she was a director. Prior to that, Tamra was a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright (formerly Deacons), in their Corporate Team.
Tamra is a respected leader in the franchise law community, having previously served as Director and State Representative for the Franchise Council of Australia (FCA).
She is currently a State Representative for Western Australia on the Women in Franchising committee, a national committee of the FCA that supports, promotes and celebrates the success of women, both within the franchise sector and the broader business community.
Tamra’s contributions to her field have led to recognition by Best Lawyers in Australia each year since 2013 and Who’s Who Legal each year since 2014.
As well as franchise and licensing law, Tamra’s expertise extends to competition and consumer law, intellectual property law, commercial property law and other general commercial law areas.
Commenting on Tamra’s appointment, Keypoint CEO Warren Kalinko said:
“We are very excited to have Tamra on board. Tamra is highly regarded in her field and her knowledge and experience will be of immense value to our firm and clients.”
Keypoint’s entry into the Perth market is a timely accomplishment as the firm celebrates its 10-year anniversary in Australia this year. The multi-award-winning firm now has 75 partner-level lawyers offering services across 25 areas of law, with operations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth.
